Finally got my hands on an ESPGALUDA PCB! This will recieve much playtime for sure. Having 1CC:d this on PS2, now I must complete the task on this PCB. Big thanks to TonyTwoFinger for letting me split the payment so I can afford it.

I have made some nice changes to my Red Box PCB so it now has AdvanceMenu as frontend. This of course looks much better than the very basic menu that came with it. Also supports animated previews of all games and has a nice trance track as background music. I've created a kick ass animation at startup as well. :D I've also upgraded the sad Centrino 1100mHz CPU to a bitchin' PIII 1400hHz that I got from eBay. Perhaps later I'll also upgrade the memory from 256 to 1GB. Not sure how much memory DOS can handle though.

Took new photos of my sitdowns, since I've upgraded with new/more buttons and new balltops. Next up for the Xiong Ba cabinet is an EGRET II style instruction card holder since I'm a non-smoker and it will look much better.

Sold my Dragon Blaze PCB. I never play this as I'm not a big fan of Psikyo style game mechanics. A really beautiful game though. Will put this money into an ESPGaluda PCB instead.

Did an overhaul on the site so that you won't see the extra scrollbars that appear if your vertical resolution ( <900 pixels ) is too low. I'm counting on that people use at least 1024x768 nowadays.

2008-10-18

Got a Gals Panic PCB from a friend that's selling his cabinet, so he'll have no means to play it (except when he visits me that is). Also bought a cheap (59 sek) poster with Super Mario (DS game, I'm guessing) that I converted into this.

2008-10-04

Sold my Sol Divide PCB. I have never played this, so it's better that is finds a new home.
Also did some cleaning up on the site. There were some sold games I'd forgot to remove.

Yesterday my new CPO arrived for my Xiong Ba cabinet arrived from MAME Marquees. It took a couple of hours but it's now in place. Click here to see the work in progress pics.

Sold my Air Gallet PCB to an american enthusiast. Gonna use the money to upgrade the crappy control panel on my Xing Ba cabinet. Will post pictures when the new CPO arrives from MAMEMarquees as is properly installed. I will probably miss it, but I don't have a job right now, so that's the only way I can afford a new CPO right now. Not that I play my Xiong Ba that much, but improving the feel and look of it might trigger some lust for horizontal gaming...

Been cleaning out some stuff from my collection. Sold Gun Bird, Raiden 2, Psychic 5 (Bootleg), Rygar (50/50 bootleg), Puzzle De Bowling, Arkanoid (Bootleg) and traded away my Atomiswave + Dolphin Blue for a Playstation 2 with a couple of great CAVE games since I never play Dolphin Blue anyway. Trying to get rid of Perfect Billiards and Rygar (Bootleg) as well. I've spent lots of money on games that I hardly ever play, so now I'm gonna get some games I wanna play instead. Smart huh?

Sold my Vasara PCB to a swedish enthusiast.

2008-07-29

Recieved a MULTI-PCB called Red Box. Basically a hacked GameBox with a much better set of titles. Many of these games I already own as PCB's, but this is very handy if you're just gonna invite friends over, drink a few beers and play games.

2008-07-08

Today I got rid of my Raiden bootleg PCB (sold it to another swedish enthusiast). I've found that I don't really like Raiden or Raiden II. Also got a DreamCast console that I plan to hook up to my Macrown 29" and play Virtua Tennis, Border Down or other great games.

2008-06-21

Well, I've actually had this about a month now, but it's been a month filled with problems. I got myself a "brand new" Chinese made Xiong Ba tri-sync 29" sitdown cabinet. Yes, this was shipped to Sweden directly from Macrown in Chine where it had been assembled. But unfortunately, quality is something they take lightly in The People's Republic of China so to my dismay, the monitor is far from perfect (that you'd expect from a brand new item) and I still have to get it adjusted properly before I can hook my Atomiswave mobo to it and really enjoy using it. I've had the buttons replaced with quality stuff from Seimitsu and also plugged three button holes. No need for six buttons, since I'm not a fighter fan.

Arkanoid PCB
, original by Taito. And a nice adapter. Now I just have to install a spinner properly.

2008-05-20

New arrivals! 16-in-1 Neo-Geo cart and P-47 Aces cart for Jaleco Mega System 32.

2008-05-15

There was a box from Hong Kong... Now I have an Atomiswave motherboard + Dolphin Blue cart, Raiden 2 PCB, Do Donpachi II / Bee Storm cart and my first CAVE pcb, ESP Ra.De!

2008-04-24

I got a Storm Blade PCB and a IGS PGM motherboard a couple of days ago. Still waiting for games for the mobo, but that's for next update.

2008-03-25

Recieved a cool Air Gallet PCB from Hong Kong.

2008-03-23

Yesterday was a day of joy and excitement. My new cabinet, a Taito Egret II arrived! This will surely be in vertical mode most of the time. I have tested using a laptop and a J-Pac in it and it's really great for playing Raiden III. This is not the new-in-box thing that I'm replacing my MAME cabinet with. Stay tuned for updates about that. :P

2008-03-11

Yesterday I got the nice combo of one PCB and one Motherboard+cart in the mail.
Rampage World Tour and a Jaleco Mega 32 Game System mobo with Tetris Plus 2 cart .

2008-02-23

Out with the old, in with the new. I have sold my homebuilt MAME-cabinet. And have found an excellent replacement. It will show up here as soon as I lay my mittens on it. All I can say for now is New-In-Box.

2008-01-17

Removed some dead links for high resolution PCB pictures and got image hosting at pici.se. Highly recommended site and actually owned by an arcade enthusiast! If time allows I will also fix some dead arcade links. It's never fun to click links that leads to a 404.
